Most recently she won the 2013 Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for her performance as Sheila in A Chorus Line (Palladium) and appeared with Domenick Allen in A Love Affair from A2Z (St. James Theatre).

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (President and CEO John Schreiber) and Two River Theater (Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst) announced today the full cast of Meredith Willson's The Music Man, a concert version of the classic Tony Award-winning musical, directed by Obie Award-winner Robert O'Hara, with music direction by Kenny J. Seymour. America's favorite musical about big brass bands and small-town spirit will be performed by an African-American cast. The River City, Iowa setting will be based on historical accounts of black communities established during the Great Migration as former slaves moved across the U.S. following the Civil War.

On the eve of Valentine's Day, Kara Lindsay, currently starring in Disney's 'Newsies' on Broadway, was joined on-stage by her husband Kevin Massey (Memphis), her college best friend Kirsten Scott (Big Fish), Santino Fontana ('Frozen'), his girlfriend Jessica Hershberg (Cinderella), Drew Gehling (Jersey Boys), his wife Sara Jean Ford (The Phantom of the Opera), Patrick Cummings (Happiness), his girlfriend, Alessa Neeck (Cinderella), Thea Brooks (Dirty Dancing), and musical director Benjamin Rauhala (Hit List) in a celebration of Broadway romance, both on and off-stage. The evening will also feature bluegrass trio 'Shubert Alley,' featuring Kevin Massey, his brother Patrick Massey, and Jamison Scott (Spider-Man). Also featured in the concert were Aaron Albano (Newsies), Stephen Joshua Thompson, Antwayn Hopper (Hair), and Devin Ilaw (Les Miserables). Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF is excited to unveil four of the productions in its highly anticipated 26th Season. Audiences will be inspired by the award-winning music of Les Miserables and challenged by the themes of Mark St. Germain's new play, The Best of Enemies (both part of the Theater's Signature Series).
