SOUL TRAIN will feature a trailblazing creative team with 2019 Tony Award Nominated and MacArthur Genius Grant-winning playwright Dominique Morisseau (Ain't Too Proud, The Detroit Project), the Apollo Theater's Kamilah Forbes (By the Way, Meet Vera Stark; The Mountaintop, Assoc.) as director, and 2019 Tony Award Nominee Camille A. Brown (Choir Boy, Emmy-winning Jesus Christ Superstar on NBC; Tony-winning revival of Once on This Island) as choreographer. The production is planning a Broadway premiere in 2021 in celebration of the landmark series' 50th Anniversary.

BroadwayCon announced today that four new guests, James Snyder, Kelli O'Hara, Mandy Gonzalez, and Damon Daunno, have joined the special guest lineup for BroadwayCon 2020.

Paterson Joseph (Peep Show, Green Wing) is to star as Ebenezer Scrooge in Matthew Warchus' big-hearted, smash hit production of Charles Dickens' immortal classic A Christmas Carol, joyously adapted for the stage by Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child). The Old Vic's A Christmas Carol returns on 4 December, with previews from 23 November.

BroadwayCon announced today that five new guests, Alex Boniello, Caitlin Kinnunen, Sharon Wheatley, Christopher Sieber, and Patrick Hinds, have joined the special guest lineup for BroadwayCon 2020. Due to strong demand, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will extend its booking period by an additional eight weeks. Berklee President Roger H. Brown presented an honorary Doctor of Music degree yesterday to acclaimed recording artist Imogen Heap during the commencement ceremony for the master's degree programs at Berklee's campus in Valencia, Spain. In advance of the ceremony, graduate students prepared and performed a medley of her  music in her honor at the commencement concert, held at l'Hemisfèric on Saturday.
