Rowling's Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will welcome its first audience on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at San Francisco's Curran Theater. After first announcing the production in June 2018 and following a nearly five-month transformation of the Curran, the theater will open its doors to more than 1,600 fans as the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the most awarded play in theater history begins its run in San Francisco.

Establishing itself as the premier attraction for visitors to Melbourne, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has extended the booking period with new tickets made available for performances up until and including Sunday, July 12th, 2020. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 11.00am on Tuesday 22nd October via the official website HarryPotterThePlay.com.

BroadwayCon announced today that four new guests, James Snyder, Kelli O'Hara, Mandy Gonzalez, and Damon Daunno, have joined the special guest lineup for BroadwayCon 2020.

Paterson Joseph (Peep Show, Green Wing) is to star as Ebenezer Scrooge in Matthew Warchus' big-hearted, smash hit production of Charles Dickens' immortal classic A Christmas Carol, joyously adapted for the stage by Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child). The Old Vic's A Christmas Carol returns on 4 December, with previews from 23 November.

Berklee President Roger H. Brown presented an honorary Doctor of Music degree yesterday to acclaimed recording artist Imogen Heap during the commencement ceremony for the master's degree programs at Berklee's campus in Valencia, Spain. In advance of the ceremony, graduate students prepared and performed a medley of her  music in her honor at the commencement concert, held at l'Hemisfèric on Saturday.
