National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced additional casting for their 34th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, which returns in person and takes place on Thursday, October 20 and Friday, October 21, 2022 at New World Stages.

Emmaus, residents will embrace their inner 'elf' when STAR OF THE DAY presents their production of Elf The Musical Jr. The show featuring STAR OF THE DAY youth performers opens on December 2nd running through the 11th with six performances scheduled on Friday and Saturday nights at 7pm, and Sunday matinees at 3pm.

Renowned theatre actress Rebecca Lock will play Emily Hobbs in ELF, the smash hit musical which returns to London in a new production at the Dominion Theatre for a strictly limited 8-week season.

NETworks Presentations has announced casting for the 2022 national tour of ELF THE MUSICAL, which will launch November 5 in Paducah, KY, and visit twelve U.S. cities throughout the holiday season.

.Almost Famous is set to begin preview performances at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre tonight, October 3, 2022 with opening night on November 3, 2022.

Tom Chambers will be playing the character Walter Hobbs, the rediscovered father of Buddy, in ELF, the smash hit musical which returns to London in a new production at the Dominion Theatre for a strictly limited 8-week season. 

NETworks Presentations, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, and Unique Features, bring the hit Broadway musical ELF to the Palace Theatre in Columbus. Tickets go on sale to the public on Thursday, September 22 at 10 am for performances December 13-18, presented by CAPA and PNC Broadway in Columbus. 

HAIRSPRAY, Broadway’s Tony Award®-winning musical comedy phenomenon, went on sale September 16, 2022 at 10 AM. This new North American tour, helmed by original director Jack O’Brien and original choreographer Jerry Mitchell, will play Friday, November 4 – Saturday, November 5, 2022 in Kalamazoo at Miller Auditorium. 

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present vocalist and pianist Steve Ross in a special new show “Autumn Serenades” on Monday, October 24 at 7:00 PM. Ross will sing a few mellow seasonal ballads, including “September in the Rain,” “Autumn Leaves,” “September Song,” and “When October Goes.”

Bucks County Playhouse will present “Hirschfeld’s Broadway,” a new multi-media presentation illustrating and celebrating some of the most loved moments in American theater as drawn by Al Hirschfeld. The one-night-only event takes place Wednesday, September 28 at 7:30 pm at Bucks County Playhouse.

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced casting for On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio & Gloria Estefan, the first production of Paper Mill’s 2022-2023 season. The production will feature Linedy Genao (On Your Feet! on Broadway) as Gloria, and Brandon Espinoza (Broadway’s SpongeBob SquarePants) as Emilio.

Hairspray celebrated its 20th Anniversary of Broadway's opening night on August 15th. To celebrate, original cast members got together in New York to commemorate the opening and recreate one of the show's dance numbers, The Nicest Kids In Town.

Popejoy Presents and Haverland Carter Broadway in New Mexico has announced that tickets to HAIRSPRAY, Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical comedy phenomenon, will go on sale Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 10 a.m. This new North American tour, helmed by original director Jack O'Brien and original choreographer Jerry Mitchell, will play in Albuquerque at Popejoy Hall.

Single tickets for nine shows in the Fabulous Fox Theatre’s 2022 – 2023 U.S. Bank Broadway Series will go on sale Tuesday, September 6 at 10:00 a.m. CT. DPAC announced that HAIRSPRAY, Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical comedy phenomenon, will come to DPAC November 15-20, 2022, as part of Truist Broadway at DPAC's new season.   

Returning cast members Andrew Levitt aka Nina West (from “RuPaul's Drag Race”) as Edna Turnblad, Niki Metcalf as Tracy Turnblad, Sandie Lee as Motormouth Maybelle, Billy Dawson as Corny Collins, Ryahn Evers as Amber Von Tussle, Addison Garner as Velma Von Tussle, and Emery Henderson as Penny Pingleton will be joined by new principal cast members Charlie Bryant III as Seaweed J. Stubbs, Ralph Prentice Daniel as Wilbur Turnblad, Brayden Krikke as Link Larkin and Joi D. McCoy as Little Inez.

Tony winners Rita Moreno and Marissa Jaret Winokur have joined the cast of Lifetime's upcoming holiday original film, Santa Bootcamp. Directed by Melissa Joan Hart, the film will also star Emily Kinney, Justin Gaston, and deaf actors Deanne Bray and Zyra Singleton.
