Iris Theatre, the resident theatre company of the Actors' Church in Covent Garden, today announces the appointment of Paul-Ryan Carberry as Artistic Director and Paul Virides as Executive Director. They take up their roles from the company's founder Daniel Winder, who has moved on to become venue director of Stanley Halls, after 12 years with the company.

Spanx founder Sara Blakely was revealed on 'CBS This Morning' as the buyer of Olivia Newton-John's famed black satin pants from 'Grease.' The pants, which sold for more than $162,000 at Julien's Auctions in California, will go on display at the Spanx headquarters in Atlanta, Blakely said.

Goodspeed Musicals has announced this year's cast of A Connecticut Christmas Carol - the musical treat infused with Connecticut flavor by LJ Fecho and Michael O'Flaherty. Pioneer Theatre Company presents a Concert Production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, based on the wildly popular 1988 MGM comedy that was a hit film starring Steve Martin and Michael Caine. FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents The Picher Project, a new musical in a one-night concert engagement on October 23rd, 9:30pm. The Picher Project, a new musical, explores the rise, boom, destruction and fall of the abandoned mining town of Picher, Oklahoma. The town that once was the largest producer of lead and zinc in the world became the EPA's #1 Superfund site, deeming Picher the most toxic place in America. Town politics, involvement with the native Quapaw tribe, illness, natural disasters, and the earth literally falling apart under them, all led to Picher officially dissolving in 2013, making it a ghost town.

Performances are set to begin this Tuesday, October 15th, with the official Opening Night on October 25th, for the new musical LAST DAYS OF SUMMER, presented by George Street Playhouse and directed by Jeff Calhoun (NEWSIES, GREASE, BIG RIVER). LAST DAYS OF SUMMER features book & lyrics by Steve Kluger (based on his best-selling novel) and music by Grammy Award winner Jason Howland (LITTLE WOMEN).
