It was also recently announced that the booking period has now been extended till October 6, 2018.

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, actress & TV sensation Kandi Burruss (Bravo's 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta') made her Broadway debut in the role of 'Matron 'Mama' Morton' in Chicago on January 15. Burruss will be in the cast for eight weeks only, through March 11, 2018, at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.).

Chicago THE MUSICAL celebrated its 21st Broadway anniversary with a special party Tuesday, December 5th at PHD Terrace at the Dream Midtown (210 West 55th Street between Broadway & 7th Avenue). Just last night, the record-breaking hit musical Chicago celebrated composer John Kander's 90th birthday at the Ambassador Theatre. Mr Kander was in the house for the special night, which featured surprise appearances by Colman Domingo, Joel Grey, James Naughton, Bebe Neuwirth, Chita Rivera and Karen Ziemba.
