Meg Travers and Laura Kirman think about it differently. They put on a romp of a show, a relatable two-hander that celebrates womanhood and all the nightmares that come with becoming a fully fledged adult. It’s genuine, no-filter, all-female, thought-provoking fun. Directed by Nancy Zamit, Kirman and Travers introduce two characters you want to be friends with.

Review: SUFFS at The National Theatre
by Aidan O'Connor - Jun 17, 2026

Thousands of women lended their lives to the cause with a hope for the future, that subsequent generations would be inspired by the suffragists. Wells through a musical journey that cements the suffragists’ rightful place in history.

Review: WATER FOR ELEPHANTS at The Overture Center
by Scott Rawson - Jun 17, 2026

I truly enjoyed Water for Elephants far more than I thought I would. I came to the theater fearing the puppetry of the elephant would over shadow the actors. While it was spectacular, it did not over shadow the actors and for that I am grateful. And in an effort of full disclosure, admittedly, I also really hate the circus. No need to judge, just offering a little vulnerability here. Still, in spite of that I enjoyed the performance a great deal.
