Many peers around my age may remember the first time they saw Elf, the 2003 movie starring Will Ferrell. It was a fresh take on the Christmas cheer trope, introducing an overly enthusiastic and endearingly naïve (and exaggeratingly tall) human who was really convinced he was an elf, just like his 3-foot North Pole peers.

For theatre lovers in the City of Angels who can't get enough of seeing, sharing and soaking up the holiday spirit, get ready … FrostyFest is coming!

A Very Naughty Christmas is a comedy concert packed with stand-up, skits, parodied songs, dancing, singing, burlesque and a whole bunch of silliness. Watch a sneak peek video!

Frosty Fest is a series of seven unique shows, all with a holiday theme but ranging in length, concept and style (some are on the nice list and some the naughty) presented back-to-back this month.

With an abundance of witty filth (and filthy wit), A Very Naughty Christmas is an adults-only musical burlesque which has come straight up from down under.

The cast, crew, and creative team of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas at Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg present a show that is full of heart and hope, bringing light, life, and warmth to the stage.

On Saturday, November 30th, I had the pleasure of seeing yet another wonderful performance at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre in Bridgeport, CT.  The theatre for young audiences, that features adult performers, always manages to provide entertainment for the entire family so that parents can be entertained, themselves, as they experience the joy of watching their smiling children being entertained.  SANTA STORY 2 is yet another brilliantly written and performed story that is guaranteed to add to the Christmas cheer of all who see it!  Carly Jurman excels as the writer, director, and choreographer, showing her myriad of first-rate talents, including her acting performance as Mrs. Kringle.  She is joined by other highly talented cast members including Ashley DePascale, Andrea Pane, Emily Pisarra, JoJo Devellis, and Karen Hanley.  This stellar cast gels together excellently, with tight stage chemistry, all of them playing extras beyond their main characters, bringing positive energy to every role they play. 

Walnut Street Theatre (WST) continues their 216th Season with the charming story of Buddy the Elf. Travel with Buddy from the North Pole all the way to New York City in ELF  The Broadway Musical. The show opens on November 27, and runs through December 29. Check out video highlights of the production.
