The Des Moines Playhouse is presenting two shows in repertory in the John Viars Theatre this fall, Weekend Comedy, through Nov. 8, 2020, and I and You, through Nov. 15, 2020. Seating at these shows is limited. To accommodate those unable to see the show in-person, The Playhouse is offering on-demand viewing of the shows' opening night performances.

Transcendence Theatre Company, the award-winning, Sonoma County based theatre company, will celebrate the holiday season with Broadway Holiday Experiences, festive nights of seasonal song and dance - at the Drive-in and online. 

Segerstrom Center for the Arts is offering its first Fall Musical Theatre Training Program for young people ages 9-18 years of age. Lyric Opera of Chicago has canceled the remainder of Lyric's 2020/21 Season, based on guidance from city and state agencies regarding the ongoing health crisis. The company had previously canceled performances through the end of calendar year 2020.
