German Efficiency Productions has announced a limited engagement of Marc Camoletti's classic farce Boeing Boeing. Under the direction of Betty Karlen, the cast will feature (in alphabetical order) Katrine Fenger, Oscar Fleming, Emilie Owen, Theresa Philomena, Celine Rosalie, and Matt Torczon. Opening is set for Friday, July 19, at 8pm and there will be nine performances only through August 4.

Boeing Boeing is opening this weekend on March 22nd at Stagecrafters Main Stage in Royal Oak. The hilarious, fast-paced farced is about Bernard, a happy bachelor who has carefully arranged his life so that his three stewardess fiancees don't land on his door step at the same time. Everything is fine until Boeing develops a faster jet, wreaking havoc on his schedule when all three girlfriends land at the same time for a visit - Bernard flies into a full-blown panic! Filled with dizzying twists and turns and door-slamming entrances and exits, Boeing Boeing is a classic bedroom farce that won the 2008 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play. BroadwayWorld Detroit had a moment to speak with Erica Gunaca, who plays one of the girlfriends in the show, Gabriella, as she is getting ready for it to open about the hilarious show to get Detroit theatre fans excited about Stagecrafters' Boeing Boeing!

But Bernard's life is about to get incredibly bumpy when his friend, Robert (pratfall expert Brian O'Sullivan), comes to stay and unexpected schedule changes bring all three women to Paris and Bernard's apartment at the same time. And with Robert meeting all these lovely ladies for the first time on the same day, he soon forgets which lies to tell to whom to keep Bernard out of the doghouse. Hilarity ensues!

Set in 1960s Paris, Boeing Boeing is a non-stop, high flying farce which tells the story of Bernard, who has Italian, German, and American fiancees who are all airline stewardesses. Bernard must juggle timetables, while his maid is constantly changing photographs of the women in order to ensure his three fiances never cross paths. Chaos ensues when Bernard's friend Robert comes to stay and a speedier Boeing jet disturbs his organization and all three fiances end up in his apartment at the same time.
