David Shukiar, an award winning, nationally recognized composer of Jewish music and musical theatre creates this unique musical that documents the story of Chanukah through the eyes of Benjamin, a 13 year old boy who is teased at school because he is Jewish. Through a dream that transforms him into Judah Macabee, he relives the dramatic story of the first fight for religious freedom and regains a sense of self-confidence and a renewed faith in Judaism.
