LES MIS Ends Run at Matthews Playhouse, 5/2

LES MISÉRABLES was written in 1862 by French author Victor Hugo and is widely considered one of the greatest novels of the 19th century. It follows the lives and interactions of several French characters over a twenty-year period in the early 19th century, starting in 1815. The production will end its run at the Matthews Playhouse on May 2nd.
LES MISÉRABLES opened on Broadway in 1987 and was nominated for twelve Tony Awards, winning eight, including Best Musical and Best Original Score. With a score featuring songs like "I Dreamed A Dream" "On My Own" "Bring Him Home" "A Little Fall of Rain" "Master of the House" and "Do You Hear The People Sing?" this show continues to be one of the most well known and performed musicals world wide.
LES MISÉRABLES school edition is Directed and Choreographed by Matthews Playhouse Artistic Associate: ROBBIE JAEGER, with Musical Direction by: RYAN STAMEY, Scenic Design by: REBECCA PRIMM, Costume Design by: ERIC GRACE and Lighting Design by: TRISTA BREMMER.
