Youth Fall Workshop Series Begins Soon At Theater Works

TWICE UPON A TIME is a fun madcap workshop for young actors in which participants will be able to explore wild characters in a hilarious play. This new workshop is designed for new and seasoned actors alike. During the sessions the children will be working on acting skills that will ultimately culminate in a final performance. Join us to see what happens when some of the most beloved fairy tales mash up into a comedic romp with Princesses, witches and handsome Princes. A great time is sure to be had by both actors and audiences alike. The fall workshop will be held at Theater Works and begins on Monday, September 27th at 4:30 p.m. and will end with the children's performance on November 22nd at 7 p.m.

Beowulf Alley Theatre's Old Time Radio Theatre Company will present two classic productions from the golden days of radio on Tuesday, September 21 at the theatre. Beowulf Alley Theatre is located at 11 South 6th Avenue (Downtown between Broadway and Congress). The first show is one of radio's favorite, long-running series, 'Maxwell House Coffee Time (Burns and Allen).' This episode, 'The Sam Spade Episode,' was first presented on February 10, 1949, followed by Dashiell Hammett's famous detective, Sam Spade and The Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail Episode, first presented August 28, 1949.
