A New and Exciting Youth Winter Camp Comes To Theater Works, Begins 12/20

By:

With the winter holidays just around the corner Theater Works has a great Holiday gift for your aspiring actors and actresses. During your child's Winter Break from school YOUth Works is happy to announce our new Winter Camp for children ages 8 - 18. This exciting camp will shape an original piece of theatre created by the student actors. The "devised" play will come from the ensemble's input and will be fully costumed with a set on the Theater Works Main Stage! The Winter Camp will run Monday - Thursday for two weeks beginning on December 20th. For only $199 / child with a $50 discount for an additional sibling the camp is open to novice and experienced actors alike. This Winter Camp will be the "thing" to do this winter!

Students will experience a top notch winter theater camp in a facility that was built for actors and audiences. Chris Hamby, a professional artist will guide the way in this non-competitive, safe environment. Chris co-founded the Vagabond Youth Theatre and spent time as an education intern at the world renowned Seattle Children's Theatre, where he tuned his improv skills and his overall teaching style. From there he went on to create a very successful program with the City of Phoenix, as the Artistic Director of the Phoenix Center Youth Theater. Here Chris taught acting classes for both youth and adults and produced a full season of shows.

This fun and creative Winter Camp is sure to fill up fast so reserve your spot today before it's too late! Reservations may be made by calling the Box Office at 623.815.7930. Theater Works is located in the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts (the theater with the copper roof) at 8355 W Peoria Avenue, Peoria.
