Respect: A Musical Celebration of Women Opens at Herberger Theater Center in Phoenix

From "Stand By Your Man" to Aretha's "R.E.S.P.E.C.T," the international hit musical Respect: A Musical Celebration of Women returns to Phoenix for a limited engagement to celebrate the exciting story of women in the 20th century through more than 60 Top 40 songs. The show will run at Herberger Theater Center, 222 E. Monroe, from Feb. 5 to March 2.

Free Arts Receives $250,000 Grant

The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation has awarded Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona $250,000 to expand the program's reach and support an additional 1,300 children. The capacity building grant will enable the non-profit, which serves 32 partner agencies at over 115 sites across Maricopa County, to achieve their developmental goals through curriculum enhancements and the appointment of a Program Assistant who will support an additional 100 volunteers.
