After selling out back-to-back performances on opening weekend, Valley Youth Theatre (VYT) is extending its run of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs through April 27.

"Snow White is one of the most popular fairy tales in our 25 year history," said Producing Artistic Director Bobb Cooper. "It's nice to see that this version still excites audiences today."

The musical-comedy features a dozen actors, ages 8 to 16, from across the Valley. They were led by first-time VYT Director Molly Lajoie, who worked with the theatre company last year as choreographer for Shrek the Musical and Seussical.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs includes the Broadway-stylings of musical composer Michael Valenti with libretto and lyrics by Elsa Rael, both of whom collaborated on Ahearn & Del Valle's Beauty and the Beast.

Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., Snow White is now running through April 27 at Valley Youth Theatre. Tickets are $18.00, plus fees, and can be ordered online at VYT.com or by calling the VYT box office at 602.253.8188 x2.

Tickets are also on sale for VYT's production of the original Broadway musical version of Peter Pan running June 13 through 29 at the Herberger Theater Center. Pricing varies by seat location, but are available to order at HerbergerTheater.org or by calling 602.252.8497.
