Rockettes 'Kick-Off' Holiday Season w/ Cross-Country Kick Line, 8/12

THE RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR celebrates the 2010 holiday season with a coast-to-coast 'kick-off' at Scottsdale Fashion Square, Thursday, August 12th. The nationwide kick line is in support of the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
The Radio City Rockettes will ‘Kick'-off the 2010 Radio City Christmas Spectacular season in a simultaneous kick-line across the country in Scottsdale, New York, Los Angeles, Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Fresno and Wichita. The New York event will feature four Radio City Rockettes, KEZ's Marty Manning as emcee and the youth and staff from HomeBase Youth Services at Scottsdale Fashion Square at Camelback and Scottsdale Roads, Lower Level Macy's Court.
Arizona "kickers" are encouraged to join in the kick line. The first 100 participants will receive a voucher for one complimentary ticket to a select performance. Everyone at the event can tweet their photos and videos to the Christmas Spectacular handle @getspectacular using hash tag #kick4christmas or text KICKPX to 46737. Tweets will be posted LIVE online at radiocitychristmas.com.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting radiocitychristmas.com or the JOBING.COM ARENA Box Office.
Those who cannot make the live event can participate by ‘kicking online for a cause' at radiocitychristmas.com. Once 1 million kicks are generated (on-line or in person), the Christmas Spectacular will donate 5,000 tickets to the Garden of Dreams Foundation, which will provide children from local charities with the unforgettable opportunity to attend the production in participating markets this holiday season.
