In 'No One Does It For Us,' Esther (Kearstin Piper Brown) and Mayme (Krysty Swann) imagine a world in which they can achieve their dreams for the future. 

PBS has shared a first look video of the filmed capture of the Lincoln Center Theater production of Intimate Apparel. Set in turn of the century New York, GREAT PERFORMANCES 'Intimate Apparel' tells the story of Esther (Kearstin Piper Brown), a lonely, single African American woman who makes her living sewing corsets and ladies' undergarments.

Tony Award-winner Myles Frost appeared on the TODAY Show this morning to discuss starring as Michael Jackson in MJ on Broadway. Frost joined Hoda Kotb and guest co-host Stephen 'tWitch' Boss, revealing how he taught himself how to dance. Frost discussed when he got the call that he would be starring in MJ and joined tWitch for a dance-off.

Myles Frost made history, becoming the youngest individual actor to win a Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical at only 22- years old. On Thursday night, MJ the Musical had a very special guest in the audience. Stevie Wonder attended the musical in celebration of his 72nd birthday, which was on May 13th. Lincoln Center Theater’s INTIMATE APPAREL, a new opera with music by Ricky Ian Gordon and libretto by Lynn Nottage, based off of her play of the same name, and direction by Bartlett Sher begins previews tomorrow, January 13 ahead of a Monday, January 31 opening at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. The opera was in previews at the Newhouse when theaters shutdown in 2020.

Philadelphia Theatre Company announces the director and full cast for the Pennsylvania premiere of Lynn Nottage's Sweat. This Pulitzer Prize for Drama winner explores Reading Pennsylvania's shrinking industrial economy and shares the fear, tragedy and hopefulness of a community being forced to accept inevitable change. The production will kick-off the first produced season under new Producing Artistic Director Paige Price. Justin Emeka directs a cast filled with local stars and Barrymore Award-winners who have earned extensive theatre, film and television credits. Sweat will run from October 12 to November 4, 2018 at Philadelphia Theatre Company's stage at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre, 480 S. Broad Street.
