Over the weekend, Alex Newell, Grey Henson, and Ashley D. Kelley sat down on Good Morning America to discuss Shucked on Broadway. The segment also featured the show's viral fanbase, with some audience members also seeing the show up to 10 times. The video shared new production footage, including a look at the show's opening number, 'Corn.'

An all new song called “Somebody Will' has been released as the second single from the forthcoming Shucked – Original Broadway Cast Recording. Featuring Andrew Durand, leading man, the song is penned by Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally. Check out the video here!

Broadway got a little bit corny week as Shucked celebrated its opening at the Nederlander Theatre. Shucked's s biggest fan might be seven-year-old Tariq, aka “Corn Kid,” who was a guest at the opening night and gave a mid-show standing ovation to Andrew Durand, Kevin Cahoon, and the ensemble for “Best Man” the second act show stopper. After the show, Tariq, met Durand and gave him a big hug saying, “I loved it so much,” and later told him “when I’m old enough to get a phone I’m going to download the song.” Watch it all go down in this video!

We have an exclusive first listen to the very first song released from the upcoming new Broadway musical, Shucked! Titled 'Maybe Love',  the song is written and performed by the show’s composers Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally, who collectively have earned three Grammy Awards and 18 Grammy nominations. The Muny Cast party is celebrating its 2019 summer production of Guys and Dolls with the reunion of cast members Ben Davis, Kendra Kassebaum, Jordan Gelber, Zoe Vonder Haar, Kevin Cahoon, Orville Mendoza, Jared Gertner, Gordon Greenberg, Patrick O'Neill and Lorin Latarro!

But first, the episode starts off with a look at The Wedding Singer, based on the popular Adam Sandler film. It starred newcomer Stephen Lynch and joining him in the role of Julie, the waitress with a heart of gold, was one Broadway's loveliest leading ladies, Laura Benanti. The musical features a score by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin and a book by Begluin and Tim Herlihy. Rounding out the cast was Kevin Cahoon, Matthew Saldivar, Amy Spanger, Rita Gardner, Felicia Finley and Richard H. Blake. Benanti told Ridge, 'I'm really proud of it. It's nice to play the girl next door. I have never done that. This is really my first brand new Broadway musical. So, I have learned a lot.'

Continuing a Halloween-season tradition, Bucks County Playhouse will revive its popular production of Richard O'Brien's 'The Rocky Horror Show' live on stage beginning Friday, October 11 through Sunday, October 27.
