The New York Philharmonic announces Foreign Bodies, a one-night-only multidisciplinary event conducted and hosted by Esa-Pekka Salonen, concluding his tenure as The Marie-Jos e Kravis Composer-in-Residence. The concert, Friday, June 8, 2018, at 8:00 p.m., will feature Esa-Pekka Salonen's Foreign Bodies, accompanied by the World Premiere of a live video installation by Tal Rosner; Dan el Bjarnason's Violin Concerto, with Pekka Kuusisto in his New York Philharmonic debut; and Obsidian Tear, a dance work choreographed by Wayne McGregor performed by members of the Boston Ballet (Philharmonic debut) and set to Mr. Salonen's Nyx and Lachen verlernt. Foreign Bodies will be casual and multi-sensory; drinks and conversation will flow as attendees mingle with the performers, who will give additional impromptu performances throughout the event.

Bat Out of Hell has sailed into the Dominion Theatre where it is playing an extended run through 27 October 2018. Check out the cast performing the number Dead Ringer for Love below!

The UK Tour of Tim Firth's new British musical, THE BAND, with the music of Take That, celebrated its opening night at Manchester Opera House last night, 26 September. The show runs at Manchester Opera House until 30 September and will then embark on a major UK tour. Below, BroadwayWorld has footage from the opening night red carpet, performances and more!

Directed by award-winning theatre and opera director Jay Scheib, the cast of Bat Out Of Hell - The Musical is led by Andrew Polec as Strat and Christina Bennington as Raven, with Rob Fowler as Falco and Sharon Sexton as Sloane. They are all featured in the photos, alongside Danielle Steers as Zahara and Dom Hartley-Harris as Jagwire, who perform Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad and Dead Ringer.

The cast for Scott Graham, Karl Hyde and Simon Stephens' new production Fatherland has today been announced. The world premiere of this intensely physical production will be performed by a 13-strong cast, transforming the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester, from 1st July.

The world premiere of the long-awaited Jim Steinman's Bat Out of Hell - The Musical will take place in London's West End at the London Coliseum, opening on Tuesday 20 June 2017, following previews from 5 June, for a limited season until 22 July 2017.
