Like a bat out of hell, Bat Out of Hell is flying to New York City Center, where the Jim Steinman musical officially it begins its run tomorrow, August 1, 2019. The musical is set to open on August 8, and will play a six-week engagement through September 8, 2019.

Bat Out of Hell's German production had a lot to live up to, after the upcoming New York production plastered its billboards all over Times Square earlier this week. To generate the same level of hype, the cast took to the local shopping mall at Centro Oberhausen to create a flash mob!

Jim Steinman's Bat Out of Hell is coming back to London next month, with performances beginning April 2. This will be a return to West End for the rock opera. It played a limited run at the London Coliseum earlier in 2017, in addition to runs at the Manchester Opera House and Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre. The show is also said to be eyeing a potential Broadway run as well.

BAT OUT OF HELL THE MUSICAL celebrated a triumphant opening night on October 25th at the Ed Mirvish Theatre, and all of Toronto was out to join in the festivities. Hear from some of the city's biggest celebrities and - of course - the stars in the opening night video below!

Prior to the Toronto engagement, BAT OUT OF HELL THE MUSICAL played London's West End at the London Coliseum for limited run through July 22, 2017. Jim Steinman's Bat Out of Hell - The Musical is a romantic adventure about rebellious youth and passionate love, set against the backdrop of a post-cataclysmic city adrift from the mainland. Strat, the forever young leader of The Lost, has fallen for Raven, daughter of Falco, the tyrannical, ruler of Obsidian. The hit show is playing at the London Coliseum in the West End until 22 August.

Directed by award-winning theatre and opera director Jay Scheib, the cast of Bat Out Of Hell - The Musical is led by Andrew Polec as Strat and Christina Bennington as Raven, with Rob Fowler as Falco and Sharon Sexton as Sloane. They are all featured in the photos, alongside Danielle Steers as Zahara and Dom Hartley-Harris as Jagwire, who perform Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad and Dead Ringer. 

Britain's newest must-see Bat Out of Hell starts performances on 5 June, but the show gave everyone a sneak peek when they performed a rocking medley on Britain's Got Talent. Check out the video below!
