It was announced this morning, Emily Koch will be taking on the role of Debra in the Kimberly Akimbo national tour. Yesterday, she performed her big number 'Better' at Broadway in Chicago's summer concert. Watch the complete performance!

This afternoon, the company of Waitress on Broadway gathered on the stage of Broadway’s Barrymore Theatre to commemorate a Mayoral Proclamation declaring Friday, September 17, “Nick Cordero Day” in New York City. 

After a year and a half without Broadway, Waitress fans will get a rare chance to revisit their favorite musical- they'll just have to travel across the street for it. A limited engagement begins performances at The Ethel Barrymore Theatre on September 2, where it will run through January 9, 2022.

The first musical in the United States to be approved by Actors' Equity Association is currently running in the Berkshires! Berkshire Theatre Group's Godspell, which is being presented outdoors in an open-air tent adjacent to The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield, will run through September 4, with many health and safety guidelines in place as mandated by Actors' Equity Association and local/state government.

The Los Angeles Premiere engagement of Waitress will play Hollywood Pantages Theatre for a four-week engagement; August 2 - 26, 2018. The show held its opening night on August 3. The upcoming National Touring Production of WAITRESS, the new Broadway musical from Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles inspired by Adrienne Shelley's 2007 motion picture, will be led by Desi Oakley (Les Miserables, Evita) as Jenna, and Lenne Klingaman as Dawn with Bryan Fenkhart (Memphis) as Dr. Pomatter, Nick Bailey ('Red Oaks') as Earl and Ryan G. Dunkin ('Bull') as Cal.

Well, Wicked is a big word in my part of the world and maybe in yours too. 13 years ago I was honored to be a part of the original Broadway cast of the Oz-inspired blockbuster (you may have even heard my work on track #2 asking 'Glinda, is it true you were her friend?… but I digress).  At Broadway Sessions we like to celebrate Wicked Day (along with another spooky holiday) with ELPHABALL! Our salute to all things Wicked, featuring all women who have played the famously misunderstood green girl, Elphaba. Our 2nd annual ElphaBall was in a word, magic.
