Yesterday, May 23, the company of Godspell celebrated their Academy Award-winning writer Stephen Schwartz in a one-night-only concert featuring songs from Schwartz's Pippin, Wicked, The Baker's Wife, The Magic Show, Working, My Son Pinocchio, Children of Eden, Rags, "Pocahontas", "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", "The Prince of Egypt", "Enchanted" and more. Hundreds of hopeful actors, ages 6 to 16, showed up at the Circle in the Square Theatre today, April 25, to audition for the Broadway musical GODSPELL. The audition panel, including director Daniel Goldstein, is looking to fill 10 roles in the show. About 300 kids, including Holly Block, Gaten Matarazzo and Ellis Gage, who are featured in the video below, performed 16 measures of music for the panel.

Beginning Tuesday, March 6, for the first time in Broadway history, fans of the hit musical revival of GODSPELL can listen online for free to exclusive creative team audio commentary of the performance from the show's legendary composer Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) and director Daniel Goldstein.

In the Wednesday, February 29th performance of GODSPELL, stage and screen star Eric McCormack made a cameo appearance in the role of Lazarus. Watch the humorous performance below!

Directed by Daniel Goldstein and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Christopher Gattelli, the show opened on Monday, November 7.
