On Monday, December 12 at 8:00 p.m., Carnegie Hall presents Get Happy: A Judy Garland Centennial Celebration featuring Broadway stars Jessica Vosk alongside Andy Karl. Written by Robert Cary and Jonathan Tolins, and directed by Michael Arden with Music Director Mary-Mitchell Campbell, Get Happy celebrates the life and artistry of the legendary Judy Garland.
On Friday, November 18th, Broadway’s SOME LIKE IT HOT hosted a special preview performance. Guests were treated to a pre-show cocktail, with Marc Shaiman indulged the crowd with an impromptu rendition of the title number at the piano before heading over to the Shubert Theatre for the evening performance. Directed by Tony Award-winner Warren Carlyle, My Golden Age is Vosk’s homage to the likes of Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland, Bette Midler, and other legendary voices.
