The Youngstown Playhouse Announces New Leadership

The new hires will succeed Operations Manager James McClellan, who stepped down during the COVID-19 pandemic. They will join current staff members John Pecano, Technical Director, Sarah Jane Demetruk, Education Director, and Merle Ford, Maintenance Manager.

The love story that will last generations comes to life as Capitol City Opera Company (CCOC), a 501(c)3 non-profit professional opera company, opens its 37th season with their first full-staged French opera, Roméo et Juliette by composer Charles Gounod on Friday, March 6 at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7 at 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, March 8 at 3:00 p.m. at Conant Performing Arts Center at Oglethorpe University. Tickets are $30 – $40 and are available online at ccityopera.org.

State Theatre New Jersey Presents FINDING NEVERLAND

State Theatre New Jersey presents the Broadway musical Finding Neverland for three performances on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 8pm, and Saturday, March 23 at 2pm and 8pm. Tickets range from $35-$108.

Von Heidecke's Chicago Festival Ballet Teams up with New Philharmonic for a Classic Staging of THE NUTCRACKER

Von Heidecke's Chicago Festival Ballet performs its 29th annual production of “The Nutcracker” at the McAninch Arts Center (MAC), Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2 and 7 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 16at 1 and 5 p.m. New Philharmonic, under the baton of Maestro Kirk Muspratt, will perform Tchaikovsky's classic “Nutcracker” score live for this full-scale, lavish production. As a special treat, will be photo opportunities with Santa and a three-foot tall wooden Nutcracker in the lobby.
