Bristol Valley Theater, the Finger Lakes' award-winning live professional theater, will return this summer to live performances inside their theater venue at Main Street in Naples.

Milwaukee Chamber Theatre has announced full casting and production details for MISERY adapted by William Goldman from the novel by Stephen King and directed by MCT's Artistic Director Brent Hazelton. 

The Halloween season is upon us and the folks at Kavinoky Theatre have capitalized on the eerie and sometimes gruesome story that is Stephen King's MISERY. Thanks to the blockbuster 1990 movie adaptation featuring the fascinatingly devious Kathy Bates, the story has some name recognition. Bates went on to win the Academy Award for Best Actress , allowing no one to ever be comfortable with the thought of a sledge hammer by a bedside. High marks across the board can be given to all involved in this creepy tale that opened on Friday night.

Successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon is rescued from a car crash by his 'Number One Fan,' Annie Wilkes, and wakes up captive in her secluded home. While Paul is convalescing, Annie reads the manuscript to his newest novel and becomes enraged when she discovers the author has killed off her favorite character, Misery Chastain. Annie forces Paul to write a new 'Misery' novel, and he quickly realizes Annie has no intention of letting him go anywhere. Osceola Arts will present the Central Florida premiere of William Goldman's Misery, a dramatic play based on the novel by Stephen King. Beginning Friday, October 28th this production will run only two weekends, closing on Sunday, November 6th.

Threshold Stage Company will present 'Misery' by William Goldman (adapted from Stephen King's best-selling novel). The show will be directed by Jack Neary at the Star Theatre at the Kittery Community Center from October 21st - November 6th, 2022.

San Francisco Playhouse announced casting for Follies by James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim. The musical will run on the San Francisco Playhouse Mainstage from June 30 through September 10, 2022. Bill English will direct, with music direction by Dave Dobrusky and choreography by Nicole Helfer. This marks the first fully staged professional production of Follies in San Francisco.
