The Acting Company has announced a celebration of the company’s half century of impact across America with a 50th Anniversary Gala to take place on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Capitale (130 Bowery).

Bucks County Playhouse Executive Producer Robyn Goodman, Producing Director Alexander Fraser and Producer Josh Fiedler announced titles and creative teams for the theater’s 2022 season, which will launch May 20.

Second Stage Theater has announced that Deeksha Gaur has joined the Company’s Board of Directors as a Trustee. Additionally, the Board is announcing the appointment of Janet Lynne Knopf, who joined the Board as a Trustee during the pandemic shutdown.

The classic comedy Some Like It Hot will begin performances on Broadway this fall! Barrington Stage Company has announced casting for the first two shows of its 2022 season: the 1978 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Ain’t Misbehavin’: The Fats Waller Musical Show, and the world premiere play, Andy Warhol in Iran by Brent Askari (BSC’s American Underground) which opens the St. Germain Stage from June 2-25.

TheaterWorks Hartford will present the East Coast premiere of Zoey’s Perfect Wedding by Tony-winner Matthew López, the first Latiné playwright to win the Tony Award for best play. Directed by Artistic Director Rob Ruggiero, the production marks López’s return to TheaterWorks Hartford following 2018's The Legend of Georgia McBride.

The Broadway's Future Songbook Series - produced and hosted by John Znidarsic -  continues its 2022 season on Monday, April 25th at 6PM.
