Cameron Mackintosh has just announced principal casting for his forthcoming new production of Miss Saigon. Assembled from around the world, this exciting international cast includes Jon Jon Briones as 'The Engineer', Eva Noblezada as 'Kim', Alistair Brammer as 'Chris', Tamsin Carroll as 'Ellen', Hugh Maynard as 'John' and Rachelle Ann Go as 'Gigi'. Miss Saigon makes its highly anticipated return to the West End on Saturday 3 May 2014 at the Prince Edward Theatre, in the musical's 25th anniversary year.

17-Year-Old Eva Noblezada to Star in MISS SAIGON in the West End

The Daily Mail writes that Cameron Mackintosh has cast 17-year-old Eva Noblezada -- a Charlotte, NC native -- in the lead role of Kim in the upcoming West End revival of Miss Saigon. Noblezada was discovered by casting director Tara Rubin at the 2013 Jimmy Awards in New York City.

TheatreSquared Hosts 2013 Gala for Education Tonight

TheatreSquared announced today its 2013 Gala for Education, the theatre's signature annual celebration supporting arts-in-education outreach to 14,000 students throughout Arkansas. The 2013 event will be held tonight, November 21, 2013, at 6:30pm at the Fayetteville Town Center and will feature a 30-minute command cabaret performance by Broadway veterans Rob Sutton and Rita Harvey and a three-course dinner catered by Bordinos Restaurant. Judy and Bill Schwab will receive the 2013 Arts Advocate Award, recognizing their longstanding dedication to arts and education in Northwest Arkansas. Individual tickets to the evening's event are $125; individual sponsor tickets are $250. Tables for up to ten guests range from $1,000 to $5,000. WICKED to Hold Ticket Lottery at Old National Centre; Runs thru Dec 1

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for Wicked, which is returning to the Old National Centre with performances from now through December 1. Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Old National Centre box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person. Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form and, if chosen, when purchasing tickets.

Broadway In Chicago is pleased to announce that a WICKED day-of-performance drawing for a limited number of orchestra seats will take place inside Block Thirty Seven. Block Thirty Seven is located at 108 N State, across from the Oriental Theatre. An additional pair of tickets for each performance will be given away, courtesy of Block Thirty Seven, in honor of the 10th Anniversary of WICKED. WICKED begins performances at the Oriental Theatre on Wednesday, October 30.

A spokesperson for Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical 'Miss Saigon,' said today, 'The casting is not yet completed for 'Miss Saigon' and will not be until later in the year as the Director, Laurence Connor, is currently directing 'Les Miserables' in Toronto. No decision has yet been taken about who will play Gigi.'
