A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to The Orpheum Theatre with performances from Wednesday, January 29 through February 16. Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Orpheum Theatre box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces that the company of the first North American tour of WICKED is thrilled to welcome Tim Kazurinsky as the Wizard, Nick Adams as Fiyero and Jenny Florkowski as Nessarose on Tuesday, February 4 in Pittsburgh, PA. WICKED will return to the Benedum Center January 15 through February 9. WICKED is part of the 2013-2014 PNC Broadway Across America-Pittsburgh series, presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh Symphony and Broadway Across America.

Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form and, if chosen, when purchasing tickets.

After breaking box office records and selling out in record time in 2011, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to the Morrison Center in Boise April 16 - May 4. Tickets for the return engagement go on sale to the public at 7:00 a.m., Friday, January 24th. From 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. tickets will be available ONLY at the Morrison Center Box Office (2201 Cesar Chavez Lane - on the campus of Boise State University). The most recent version of the famous and often controversial opera, PORGY AND BESS by George Gershwin, DuBose and Dorothy Heyward and Ira Gershwin, re-titled as THE GERSHWINS' PORGY AND BESS, is now playing at DC's National Theatre through Dec. 29, 2013. The opera, which has garnered scores of awards since its first performance in 1935, has been re-mounted by the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge with a creative team including Pulitzer-prize winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks, who adapted the book, and Dierdre L. Murray, who adapted the musical score. THE GERSHWINS' PORGY AND BESS opened on Broadway in 2011.
