Frantic Assembly is delighted to share production images for its electrifying new adaptation of Franz Kafka’s Metamorphosis, a collaboration between BAFTA-nominated poet, playwright and broadcaster Lemn Sissay OBE (author of bestselling book My Name Is Why and soon to be published new poetry collection Let the Light Pour In – published by Canongate on 21 September) and Frantic Assembly’s Artistic Director Scott Graham (Othello, Lovesong, Beautiful Burnout).

The cast has been announced for the world premiere of BERLUSCONI at Southwark Playhouse. Rehearsals begin on 13 February with first preview on 25 March and press night on 29 March.

Francesca Moody Productions and Wishful Thinking Musicals have announced the world premiere of BERLUSCONI – a naughty, noisy exposé of the original perma-tanned media mogul turned populist politician, told through the eyes of three formidable women ready to share their side of the story and break the veneer of that million Lira smile.

Brand-new production of The Cher Show starring Debbie Kurup (The Bodyguard, Girl From The North Country), Danielle Steers (Bat Out of Hell, SIX) and Millie O'Connell (SIX, Rent) is arrives at Theatre Royal Brighton for two weeks from Tuesday 1 to Saturday 12 November 2022.

Leading the cast as The Osmonds will be Ryan Anderson as Merrill Osmond, Jamie Chatterton as Alan Osmond, Alex Lodge as Jay Osmond, Danny Nattrass as Wayne Osmond, and Joseph Peacock as Donny Osmond. They will be joined by Georgia Lennon, Charlie Allen, and Nicola Bryan playing Marie, George, and Olive Osmond respectively.

A brand-new production of The Cher Show starring Debbie Kurup, Danielle Steers and Millie O'Connell is coming to Milton Keynes Theatre  09 – 13 August.

Frantic Assembly has announced plans for the new year and beyond including an autumn UK tour for their landmark production of Othello revisited for 2022 and more relevant than ever, a thrilling new take on Kafka's Metamorphosis to open in 2023, and the launch of Frantic Assembly STUDIO, an innovative new digital resource platform for teaching drama in secondary schools. 

The production also announces a special charity night gala on Wednesday 18 August. The evening is in aid of the Terrence Higgins Trust, the UK's leading HIV and sexual health charity. The charity help support people living with HIV and amplify their voices, continue to fight against HIV and provide services and support to help improve the nation's sexual health.  

Stephen K Amos (Benny), James Bradwell (Eric), Edward M Corrie (John), Paul Keating (Guy), Gerard McCarthy (Daniel) and Alan Turkington (Bernie), will star in Kevin Elyot’s award-winning, and much-loved dark comedy, My Night With Reg.  

This modern classic, which captures the fragility of friendship, happiness and life itself, won both the 1995 Olivier and Evening Standard Award for Best Comedy, after its premiere at the Royal Court and subsequent transfer to the West End.
