Aimie Atkinson as 'Vivian Ward' and Danny Mac as 'Edward Lewis' will star in the West End production of Pretty Woman: THE MUSICAL. THE MUSICAL begins performances at the Piccadilly Theatre on 13 February 2020, where it will play for a strictly limited engagement.

The full cast has been announced for the West End production of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL. Joining the previously announced Aimie Atkinson as 'Vivian Ward' and Danny Mac as 'Edward Lewis' are Rachael Wooding as 'Kit De Luca', Bob Harms as 'Happy Man/Mr Thompson', Neil McDermott as 'Philip Stuckey' and Mark Holden as 'James Morse'. A film adaptation on stage is always be trapped between different expectations: It can be too close to the movie or new settings or/and new songs may leave the audience unsatisfied. This show manages this fine line. Although I haven't seen the film for years, I am surprised how many details and phrases I recognised and which are used to bring the movie alive onstage.

Speaking to ET at last night's Garry Marshall Theatre's First Annual Founders Gala, Tony Award winner Steve Kazee discussed the upcoming Broadway musical adaptation of the 1990's romantic comedy PRETTY WOMAN.

According to an Equity casting notice, a developmental lab of the Broadway-bound musical Pretty Woman, will be held in Manhattan in September. The musical is based on Garry Marshall's 1990 film starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.

Garry Marshall, best known for creating such iconic 1970s' TV shows as 'Happy Days,' 'The Odd Couple,' and for directing such classic films as Pretty Woman' and 'The Princess Diaries,' passed away on Tuesday, July 19th in Burbank, Calif. due to complications from pneumonia following a stroke. He was 81.

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, director Garry Marshall revealed details on the highly anticipated stage musical based on the 1990's romantic comedy PRETTY WOMAN.
