Puccini's tear-jerker La bohème is always a crowd-pleaser for any opera festival. This production at The Grange Festival is the first opera from French actor-turned-director David Geselson who created it for Opéra National de Nancy Lorraine in 2025. Three-time Olivier Award winner Philip Quast and West End performer Rob Madge have joined LES MISÉRABLES: THE ARENA CONCERT SPECTACULAR at Radio City Music Hall. Quast, who originated Javert in the Australian production and appeared in the 10th Anniversary Concert, will play the Bishop of Digne, while Madge returns to the franchise as Bamatabois after previously appearing as Gavroche in the 25th Anniversary Concert.

Hale Centre Theatre has released new video of THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, now on stage through April 25, 2026. The production is set against the backdrop of Notre Dame Cathedral and follows Quasimodo, a man longing for connection in a world that fears him. Based on the novel by Victor Hugo, the musical explores themes of social exclusion and justice through its story and score.
In this uplifting take on Victor Hugo’s masterwork, the vivacious street dancer Esmeralda inadvertently catches the eye of the Archdeacon Claude Frollo. He sends his deformed henchman, Quasimodo, to capture her, but Captain Phoebus de Chateaupers comes to her rescue. Seeing Phoebus’s men begin to punish the misunderstood Quasimodo, Esmeralda is moved by compassion. She begs Phoebus to show mercy.
