The Kingston Trio are folk music legends and they continue their tradition of bringing distinctive music to audiences worldwide by coming to the Monadnock region in April.

Pinky Swear has revived its 2016 production of Over Her Dead Body for this year's Capital Fringe. The musical revue surveys murder ballads (yes, that is a thing) which originated in Scotland and England during the 16th century before emigrating to Appalachia and obtaining improved orchestration (Americans organize mean fiddle, guitar, mandolin bands). but the plots of each of these songs resembles a fellow ballad: boy meets girl/boy and girl are in love/girl gets murdered--not really grislier than what's streaming these days, but with real, live musicians.

3000 Miles Off-Broadway will present THE KINGSTON TRIO, on Thursday, April 10 at 7:00pm and Thursday, April 11 at 7:00pm onstage at the historic El Portal Theatre Debbie Reynolds Mainstage.

Three groups at the center of the 1960s Folk Revival continue to delight fans with their smooth musical sounds.  The Kingston Trio (“Where Have All the Flowers Gone,” “Tom Dooley”), The Brothers Four (“Try to Remember”) and The Limeliters (“Take My True Love by the Hand”) perform as the Trifecta of Folk at Mayo Performing Arts Center on Sunday, May 7 at 3 pm. Tickets are $39-$79.

The Kingston Trio, one of the most imitated and envied singing groups of all time, takes to The Ellen Stage Thursday, Oct. 14 at 7:00 PM.

The Kingston Trio will make a stop at Jacksonville's Wilson Center for the Arts located at Florida State College at Jacksonville's South Campus, 11901 Beach Boulevard for two shows on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. Tickets will go on sale August 27th at 10:00 a.m.

This season looks to be very exciting at the FSCJ Artist Series with Broadway productions, concerts, ballets, operas, comedy shows, dance productions, school performances and variety shows.

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is announcing three live shows this fall, including The Price is Right Live, Gilberto Santa Rosa, and Trifecta of Folk Greats: The Kingston Trio, The Brothers Four, and The Limeliters.

Rubicon Theatre presents the World Premiere of I DIG ROCK & ROLL MUSIC which opens this Saturday, September 1 at 7:00 p.m. at Rubicon Theatre, 1006 E. Main Street in Ventura's Downtown Cultural District. A co-production with Laguna Playhouse, the event continues through September 16 at Rubicon Theatre and runs September 19 through 23 at Laguna.

The Kingston Trio began with Nick Reynolds, Bob Shane and Dave Guard in 1955, becoming one of the most influential bands in the 50s - they joined Frank Sinatra, Charlie Parker, The Beatles and others in winning the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, which was presented to the band in 2010.

"Country crooners, '80s hitmakers and man's best friend are among the headlining talent Poway OnStage have lined-up for their 2018/19 Professional Performance Series. The Kingston Trio & The Limeliters come to the Morrison Center Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 7:30 PM. FREE tickets available at the Morrison Center Box Office! Seating is general admission and on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets do not guarantee admission. All ticketed guests must be present. No seats can be held. Doors open at 6:15 PM, seating begins at 6:45 PM. Tickets are required for admission and patrons must be seated by 7:15 PM. Non-ticket holders will be admitted at that time and only as space allows. No babes in arms. Everyone that enters the theatre is required to have a ticket.
