Company is officially in previews on Broadway!  Following the engagement in London's West End, the new production of Sondheim and George Furth's landmark American musical, Company, directed by two-time Tony Award® winner Marianne Elliott comes to Broadway starring Tony and Grammy Award® winner Katrina Lenk as Bobbie and two-time Tony Award and two-time Grammy Award winner Patti LuPone as Joanne.

Based on the 2005 film by the same name, the musical 'Kinky Boots' tells the story of an unlikely partnership between a failing shoe manufacturer (Charlie) and a fabulous cabaret entertainer (Lola). Although they come from very different worlds, the two realize that they are not so different after all. Playing the challenging role of Lola is New Hampshire native Darius Harper. Working both nationally and internationally, Harper brings years of experience and talent to the Fulton stage.

Good Theater continues its Second Stage series with the world premiere of Shannon Thurston's solo show MEN: THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT. The production will run in repertory with the main stage production, PACK OF LIES. MEN: THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT opens February 15th and plays through March 7th, 2020 at Good Theater's home, the St. Lawrence Arts Center, 76 Congress Street, Portland. La Jolla Playhouse is pleased to launch its 2020 Performance Outreach Program (POP) Tour production: Emily Driver's Great Race through Time and Space, by A.A. Brenner and Gregg Mozgala, directed by National Disability Theatre (NDT) Co-Executive Directors and Playhouse Artists-in-Residence Talleri A. McRae and Mickey Rowe. The production will tour schools throughout San Diego County January 29 a?" March 27.  Commissioned by the Playhouse, this world-premiere play for young audiences will also have four public performances on February 29 and March 1 at 1:00pm and 3:00pm at La Jolla Playhouse. International performance artist, Francis Mabborang, dedicates himself to the arts - both in performance and education. He joins another production designed for the whole family - this one set to tour schools and, libraries, and arts organizations.

To start the year 2020, Plaza Organization is kicking off the year by staging a small-cast production of The Rainbow Fish with score, script and lyrics by Austin Zumbro, adapted from the international best-seller and award-winning book and illustrations by Marcus Pfister with its sensational message about friendship and belonging.

MY BROADWAY SHPIEL brings the Jewish side of Broadway to the stage in an act filled with laughter, tears and a dash of guilt! Cabaret's up and coming duo of delight, The Drinkwater Brothers, put on a Christmas show that was all Christmas party, feeling every bit like we were all hangin' out in their house.

Something magical is flying into the Straz Center. Disney's Aladdin is landing its magic carpet at Morsani Hall on December 19, 2019 a?' January 5, 2020. Based on the on the Academy Award-winning 1992 animated film, Aladdin combines adventure, comedy and romance, featuring a full score, with familiar songs and more written specifically for the stage adaption. Aladdin ensemble actress Carissa Fiorillo is especially excited to be returning to Tampa. Aladdin at the Straz means Christmas with the family that she hasn't seen since the beginning of the year.

It's that time of year when students all across the country are heading into auditions for college theatre program, so we're taking a closer look some of the country's standout theatre programs. We're chatting with members of the schools' faculty to give you a better idea at what to expect from their programs, with insight into the audition advice, life after graduation, and more. Today we're looking into the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

Kaan Sekban, being recognized as a social media phenomenon, brought his jokes to the stage and became one of the most prominent figures of recent years. After working in various positions at a bank for ten years, Kaan Sekban participated in the acting and musical workshops in Turkey and abroad. Acted in Istanbulname the Musical in Turkey and in the A Midsummer Night's Dream in Italy.  He is mostly recognized by the homemade live satire shows published from his own house, named 'My Side of white-collar life'.

Another Star from Israel is Taking New York City by Storm. Shir Kaufman, an established Israeli actress and singer, has recently been taking over the theatre scene in New York City both on stage and behind, with her work with Israeli Artists Project - IAP, and the Alliance of Alien Artists.

Prohibition Era New York is bustling with glitz and glamour in this classic Tony Award-winning musical. Nathan Detroit, the city's most infamous craps game organizer, makes the bet of a lifetime with high-roller Sky Masterson. Sky accepts, and tries to win the heart of a?oeSave-A-Soula?? missionary Sarah Brown, while Nathan's fiancé of 14 years, Adelaide, grows tired of him gambling with hers. When it comes to love, these characters discover you've gotta roll the dice if you want to win big.

BroadwayWorld has just confirmed that Kyle Scatliffe will join the Broadway cast of Hamilton tonight, September 3rd through September 26th. He stars as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, roles he previously played on tour.

Marquee Productions announces the first in an upcoming series called 'Flying Solo'. 'Girl Gang' is a stellar trio of true life best friends on Sunday August 18th at 5:00pm.

The final show in the 2019 season is the Broadway At Music Circus premiere of In The Heights, a multiple Tony Award-winning Best Musical from Lin-Manual Miranda, creator of the smash hit Hamilton, running Tuesday, Aug. 20 through Sunday, Aug. 25 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion in Sacramento.
