The Hangar Theatre has announced the first ever Hangar Flight Test, a series of concert stagings of original musicals in development.  The 2022 series will consist of two workshop productions which Hangar audiences will be among the first to experience.  Writers and artistic teams will invite audiences to give feedback and become part of the development process as they prepare their scripts and scores for full scale production.

FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW will present Andrew Zachary Cohen in Don’t Ask the Lady on March 2 at 9:45 PM. While ushering at the New Am, his boss said that positioning him in the balcony was akin to putting the Mona Lisa in a warehouse.  So now momma’s lettin’ loose Gypsy style, movin’ down from the balcony to center stage, and not lettin’ go of the mic. 

Good Theater continues its Second Stage series with the return of Shannon Thurston's solo show MEN: THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT. The production will run in repertory with the main stage production, PACK OF LIES.

FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present Rafa Reyes in “A Mexican Affair” on Wednesday, March 16th, 2022 at 9:45PM. “A Mexican Affair” celebrates the influence of Mexico in American theatre and film, and the mutual love between these two neighbor countries.

Actors Theatre of Indiana will begin 2022 with their production of The Big Bang beginning January 28, 2022 and running through February 20, 2022. Actors Theatre of Indiana shows are performed at the Studio Theater inside of The Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, IN.

According to outinsa.com,  writer, actor, and director Jade Esteban Estrada was named artistic director of the Overtime Theater on January 6th. Estrada, who graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, has performed in a variety of theatrical experiences, including film, television, burlesque, stand-up comedy, and one-man shows.

The Omaha Community Playhouse has announced that Stephen Santa will be joining the organization as the new artistic director beginning on November 1, 2021. Susan Baer Collins, former OCP associate artistic director, has been acting as interim artistic director since January. Collins will work with Santa during the transition.

Theater Resources Unlimited has announced their monthly panel Art and Activism: How Theater Can Open (and Change) Minds on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 6pm via Zoom.
