The tongue-in-cheek anthology, Abdication!, will be a featured event for the 10th anniversary THEATER FOR THE NEW CITY DREAM UP FESTIVAL 2019.

Broadway Records announced today that "I Feel Pretty," the first single from Kyle Taylor Parker's upcoming debut album BROADWAY SOUL VOL. 1 is available now wherever music is sold digitally.

The American Dream: A Story of Two Crazy Broke Asians is a musical revue, following the journey of two young women, in a search for happiness - and for themselves. Yanzi, a hopeless romantic, is following her love from Taiwan to New York City, where she reconnects with her old friend Grace, who is struggling with life in the big Apple as she tries to tough it out on her own.

Four alumni of the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) will return to Franklin for a one-night only "Homecoming Cabaret" on Saturday, June 22 at 8:00 pm at THE BLACK BOX. Madi Asgeirsson ('16), Pat Dutton ('11), Sam Evans ('18), and Katie Gray ('17) will be joined by the ACME Rhythm Section for an evening of entertainment presented in an intimate night-club atmosphere.

Featuring an all Argentinean cast: Valeria Llaneza, Carmen Borla, Natalia Ivana Escobar and Jesica Terry. The play tells the life story of four completely different friends who had been complementing each other for twenty-five years: Katherine, Caroline, Nathalie and Vivian. During one of their regular gatherings, the unexpected happens and their friendship is tested.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Tom Fetner in Past, Present, Future on 7/2 at 9:30pm. Tom will sing songs from his past including Spring Awakening, Life Could Be A Dream, The Mad Ones and Thoroughly Modern Millie. As well as songs from his present and future including The Mollyhouse, Wicked, Heathers and many more!

New York City's premier cabaret highlighting the talents of transgender, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming performers returns to The Duplex to celebrate World Pride on Saturday, June 22nd at 9:30pm. The show is directed by Donnie Cianciotto, with Musical Direction by Anessa Marie and. Cianciotto will also serve as the emcee of the evening.

Casting has been confirmed for the 69th Broadway At Music Circus season, which begins June 11 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion. The season includes four Broadway At Music Circus premieres, Shrek the Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Wiz, and In the Heights.

ROMEO and JULIET coming Off-Broadway in a World Premiere Jewish adaptation this June 2019 at the Center for Jewish History (15 west 16th Street New York NY 10011). Adapted and directed by David Serero, who is also starring as Romeo, this unique production. One family is Sephardic and the other one is Ashkenazi, featuring classic Ladinos and Yiddish songs as well as some others surprises...

SeriesFest, the non-profit organization dedicated to championing artists at the forefront of episodic storytelling, in partnership with Elysium Bandini Studios today announced the three finalists of this year's Storytellers Initiative, a program created to discover original episodic writers. This season's Storytellers Initiative is focused on the opportunity to explore short form series (running less than 15 minutes in length) with a strong point of view and bold characters.

Cal State Fullerton's Spring semester begins with "The Cherry Orchard" by Anton Chekhov, translated by Paul Schmidt and directed by Maria Cominis. The play runs from March 8-24, 2019 in the Young Theatre on campus. "The Cherry Orchard" follows a destitute Russian aristocrat who returns home to find her family in a financial crisis, forcing them to sell their home to pay off their debt. The family must decide on their prospects for happiness and how to rebuild their lives and fortunes.

Michael Chekhov Association (MICHA), the not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving the artistic vision and technique of actor/director/author Michael Chekhov, today announced the appointment of Thomas Morrissey as its Managing Director. He will work alongside former Managing Director, Jessica Cerullo who now steps into the newly created role of MICHA's Artistic Director. Together, they will manage the day-to day operations of MICHA, produce the annual International Summer Workshop and Festival at Connecticut College in June, and seek out other ways to extend and preserve the legacy of Michael Chekhov and the MICHA.

Thursday Night Theater Club announce their cast of fourteen for The Elephant Man by playwright Bernard Pomerance.  Robyn Cohen is delighted to be at the helm with such a notable group of actors.   The production opens at El Portal Theatre. The American Theatre Wing announced today the recipients of the Andrew Lloyd Webber Initiative's programming, including the 4-Year University Scholarships, the Training Scholarships, and the Classroom Resources Grants. These scholarships and grants represent the Wing's most rigorous investment in direct support for underserved public school students demonstrating exceptional talent and economic need to continue their study of theatre.
