Susan Egan took to Instagram to share a note written by Matthew Morrison to her following a concert in 1996. Egan wrote 'In 1996 I did a little concert at my high school alma mater, the Orange County School of the Arts - alongside some of the current students. I just found the program they signed for me and will now take FULL CREDIT for Matthew Morrisons's career and happiness.'
Hylton Performing Arts Center announced today its 2019-2020 season of mainstage performances, featuring a diverse lineup of artists and ensembles across genres, as part of Hylton Presents, Hylton Family Series, Matinee Idylls, and the American Roots Series. On April 18, 1994, a musical opened that would change the face of Broadway for years to come. Beauty and the Beast not only took New York City by storm, but marked the birth of Disney Theatrical Productions. Since then, its 10 Broadway titles (including current hits Frozen, Aladdin and The Lion King) have been seen by over 160 million theatergoers and have been nominated for 62 Tony Awards, winning Broadway's highest honor 20 times.
Susan Egan recently stopped by Frozen on Broadway, for the show's first anniversary. Beauty and the Beast, in which Egan starred, is also celebrating its 25th anniversary.
