The Muny announced today that Tony nominees Christopher Sieber and Jennifer Simard will star as the stoically affluent Daddy Warbucks and the deliciously wicked Miss Hannigan, respectively, in the theatre's centennial season production of Annie, July 18 - 25. Annie is directed by John Tartaglia and choreographed by Jessica Hartman with music direction by Colin Welford. Annie is proudly sponsored by Edward Jones.

Brush off your tiara and unleash your inner princess with Broadway's original Cinderella, Belle and Jasmine! Triple threat performer Susan Egan is no stranger to theatre audiences. She originated Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway and is now reviving it 20 years later for 5 Star Theatricals. She took time out of her busy rehearsal schedule to discuss the role and explain why it means so very much to her and her career.

For the first time in 22 years, Susan Egan takes to the stage in her pioneering role as Belle in 'Beauty and the Beast.' 5-Star Theatricals' production (July 20-29) is being directed by Yvette Lawrence, who took over the role of Belle after Egan vacated it in Los Angeles over two decades ago. We spoke with both Susan and Yvette in a fun, nostalgic, and warm conversation about the show.

Next week, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

The BROADWAY PRINCESS PARTY is having a homecoming of sorts. The brand, led by Benjamin Rauhala and Laura Osnes (Rodgers and Hammerstein's CINDERELLA), touched down at Feinstein's/54 Below (then simply 54 Below) back in August 2015, returning for four more engagements over the next three years. When the show returns to the space on June 25, it will look a bit different than what New York audiences may have come to expect.

What place does a fairytale have in the modern world? Unlike Cinderella's slipper, there's no one perfect fit of an answer, but two of Broadway's favorites have been exploring this question through a popular concert/cabaret series. The Broadway Princess Party, the brainchild of two-time Tony-nominated actress Laura Osnes and music director Benjamin Rauhala, combines a tongue-in-cheek sensibility with a warm affection for musical princess characters and their stories. With the concerts, Osnes and Rauhala have created a space that celebrates music, joy, and a healthy dose of girl power.

For 22-year-old Nicky Wood, there is no better way to spend a weekend off than onstage at the Barn Theatre. Wood is back in his old stomping grounds (Stuart, FL) for one day only to raise a glass to a century of Broadway's brightest stars, shows, songs and stories.

Emmanuel Deleage, Executive Director of Josefina Lopez's CASA 0101 Theater announced today that the theater will stay open till the end of the year, at which time the theater's fate will be re-evaluated.

5-STAR THEATRICALS (formerly Cabrillo Music Theatre) Board of Directors announced today that Patrick Cassidy will assume the responsibilities of Artistic Director for the critically acclaimed, award-winning organization effective immediately. Will North has resigned his position as managing director to pursue other creative opportunities. Comments 5-Star Theatricals Board Chair Bart Leininger, "On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are so excited to welcome Patrick Cassidy in his new role as Artistic Director after serving on our Executive Advisory Board for many years. Patrick brings a wealth of Broadway talent and experience to Thousand Oaks' own resident theater company. We would also like to thank Will for his many contributions to 5-Star Theatricals and we all wish him nothing but the best in his future creative endeavors."
