Review: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE, Sadler’s Wells

If it ain't broke, don't fix it - but by all means develop it into a one-show-does-all situation, which is very much the case for The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe currently showing at Sadler’s Wells. The production is geared towards a younger audience, however anyone who goes won't be able to escape the magic and undeniably high level of the entire production.

Review: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE at Kings Theatre Glasgow

Few stories capture the wonder of childhood and the weight of war as gracefully as The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. CS Lewis’s beloved tale of four siblings stumbling through a wardrobe into a magical world could risk feeling outdated—yet Sally Cookson brings us something altogether stranger and more powerful. Her Narnia is surreal, haunting, and rooted in themes of spiritual rebirth—less Sunday school, more sacred myth.

THE SWEARING JAR Will Embark on UK Tour

The UK premiere of a multi-award winning Canadian play, recently made into a film, The Swearing Jar is a comedy about love, heartbreak, living with the past and accepting the future.

BWW Review: ORLANDO, Jermyn Street Theatre

“He who robs us of our dreams robs us of our life” writes Virginia Woolf in her novel Orlando: A Biography. The fictional life of her gender non-conforming hero has been hailed as a feminist masterpiece, a subversive classic, and an impressive love letter.

BWW Review: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Rose Theatre

After being cancelled last year, the traditional musical extravaganza at the Rose Theatre is back with a bang. Typically for the festive production, Beauty And The Beast brings together professional actors along with talented performers from the Rose Youth Theatre for a magical production.
