Casting has been announced for Theatre for One: Here We Are, the first ever virtual experience from the globally acclaimed Theatre For One which brings together one actor and one audience member for a one-of-a-kind intimate theatrical experience.

Theater for One is back for their newest collaboration with Arts Brookfield to debut Here We Are, eight new micro plays. The subversive group, Theater for One, led by Artistic Director, Christine Jones along with LOT-EK architects, brings state-of-the-art performances to your computer screen, while providing each viewer with their own show.

Surviving American Theatre: a frank and honest discussion featuring Adrienne Dawes, Candrice Jones, and Stacey Rose will be moderated by Rachel Lynett on September 5 at 6 p.m. central/7 p.m. eastern time on Zoom.

KCRep has announced the cancellation of OriginKC's FRANKENSTEIN and LEGACY LAND

KCRep has announced its plans amid the current Covid-19 outbreak. Read their statement below:

Frankenstein, a haunting exploration of a 200-year-old horror tale and Legacy Land, a dark-comedy dive into the legacy of sexual abuse make their world premieres during Kansas City Repertory Theatre's annual OriginKC: New Works Festival, March 6-April 5 at Copaken Stage. OriginKC: New Works Festival engages audiences with the process of creating theater and gives emerging and established playwrights the resources to develop scripts for future seasons at KCRep and beyond.

After the success of the inaugural Bonnie and Terry Burman New Play Award in 2018, Barrington Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, has announced the second Burman New Play Award for 2020.
