Since its reopening on April 23rd, ASYLUM NYC has rocketed to the top of the scene, and has become home to the best and brightest of New York’s professional comedy and theatre community.

BroadwayWorld is thrilled to announce the return of The Seth Concert Series this fall! Regular Sunday evening performances will resume beginning October 3rd at 8 PM - with a five star lineup now on sale.

Celebrating Broadway’s return, Seth’s Broadway Breakdown will premiere with a press preview on Sunday, September 12, with performances three times a week starting on October 15th. The show will be produced by Asylum NYC’s artistic director, Alan Kliffer.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Elsie Fest, Broadway's outdoor music festival, will be back on August 29 at the 2021 BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival. Now in its 6th year, the event was founded by Darren Criss and celebrates stars and songs from the stage and screen.

Jessica Vosk, who starred most recently as Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway, will make her Broadway @ The Art House series debut on Monday, August 30th at 7:00 PM, with Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host

The evening will celebrate Emmy Award-winning icon, Debbie Allen; Clean Tech Investor, Real Estate Developer and  Philanthropist Niko Elmaleh; Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning producer Stacey Mindich; and creators of the talk show “Stars in the House,” Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, as they receive The Actors Fund’s Medal of Honor.

Edmund Bagnell, 1st Violinist & vocalist of the internationally acclaimed group Well-Strung, will bring his new solo show Happy Days Are Here Again, directed by and co-written with Michael Schiralli, to the Crown & Anchor’s P-Town lineup for a summer-long run this season from July 6 - August 31.

Stars in the House, and its hosts Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, are celebrating raising $1 million for The Actors Fund in the past 15 months since the start of the Broadway shutdown. It was a big week in New York theatre as Bruce Springsteen opened a Broadway show for the first time in 15 months to a fully vaccinated crowd. While theatre has continued in various forms throughout the pandemic, seeing the return of a show to one of the major commercial centers of the industry was an important step from an economic and emotional standpoint.
