THE HU will bring their warrior anthems and galvanizing live performance to audiences along the West Coast later this fall. The group announced a headlining run of dates following the completion of their co-headlining U.S. “Psycho Thunder” tour with Asking Alexandria from August 30 until October 8.
The co-headlining jaunt—billed as the “PSYCHO THUNDER” tour with special guests BAD WOLVES and ZERO 9:36—begins August 30 in San Antonio, TX and includes stops at some of the states’ biggest rock festivals including Aftershock (The HU only) and Rocklahoma and Louder Than Life (The HU and Asking Alexandria only).
With a vocal range over four octaves, CSUN alumnus Serj Tankian is considered one of the greatest vocalists in Rock Metal history and is best known for fronting the popular band System Of A Down. The songwriter, poet, painter, producer, and political activist returns to The Soraya on Sat, Apr 29 at 8pm to perform vocals on his new suite of compositions, “Invocations”— music that calls on spirits to co-inspire or inter-inspire.
Not only is Tankian overseeing the performance, and singing on several of the pieces, he has also assembled a team of incredible vocalists: renowned tenor Brian Thorsett, world music singer Azam Ali, Francesca Genco and Charles Elliot. The vocalists will be backed by the impressive CSUN Symphony Orchestra, ethnic instrumentalists, and a full choir.
Serj Tankian, the prolific artist, activist, best known for System Of A Down, is releasing a new 5 song EP titled Perplex Cities via Serjical Strike.
