A Noise Within to Hold Sunday Rush Performance of ANNA IN THE TROPICS

A Noise Within (ANW), California’s acclaimed classic repertory theatre company, announces the fifth production of its 30th anniversary season, Nilo Cruz’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, Anna in the Tropics, directed by ANW’s Director of Cultural Programming Jonathan Muñoz-Proulx (he/him).  The play runs now through April 17, 2022, with a Sunday Rush performance on April 10 at 7:00 p.m. All remaining tickets for the Sunday evening performance are $25. Tickets are available online now for the performance with the code SUNDAYRUSH while selecting seats OR mention “SUNDAY RUSH” after 2 p.m. on the day of the performance at the box office window.

Center Theatre Group to Host Free Library Play Reading Series

Center Theatre Group will continue its free library play reading series with the readings of six plays on select dates from July to December. His latest play, the phenomenal VALLEY OF THE HEART at the Mark Taper Forum through December 9, 2018, uses California history as a jumping-off point to tell an important story about the fight to maintain dignity, identity, family and faith in the once-fertile farmland that is now known as the Silicon Valley.

Center Theatre Group will offer Spanish-language translations of the 8 p.m. performance of Luis Valdez's "Valley of the Heart" on Friday, December 7 at the Mark Taper Forum. Each show will be performed in English with Spanish translations running simultaneously on open caption screens. Audience members wishing to view the open captions should request to be seated in the captioning area when purchasing tickets.
