Performances of the off-Broadway musical “Love Quirks” will continue to have a mask mandate for its audience members through its summer run.

Performances of the off-Broadway musical “Love Quirks” will now begin on Saturday, June 18th at 3PM due to unforeseen construction delays.  The added Saturday matinee will kick off the show’s first three previews, followed by the previously scheduled Saturday night, June 18th at 8PM and Sunday afternoon, June 19th at 3PM.

“Love Quirks,” winner of four 2021 BroadwayWorld Off-Broadway Awards, including Best Production of a Musical, Best New Score of a Musical, Best New Book of a Musical and Best Direction of a Musical, has released tickets for its limited 12-week run.

On Thursday, September 10th, 2020 at 7PM, Seth Bisen-Hersh, composer/lyricist of off-Broadway's Love Quirks will present a virtual concert featuring most of the original off-Broadway cast, some of its production team and a few performers from previous incarnations to raise money for the upcoming off-Broadway Original Cast Recording.

Viewers can tune in to Visiting Broadway at 5pm EST/2pm PST to catch the latest episode of the series featuring special guest Rori Nogee.

Love Quirks, A New Musical Fable will be making its Off-Broadway premiere in an open-ended run at St. Luke's Theatre (307 West 46thSt.) later this month. Based on actual events, Love Quirks spotlights a group of thirty-somethings (gay and straight), as they explore the bizarre tribulations of love, friendship, and all the blurry lines in-between. The production features an original score of quirky, neurotic, and poignant songs by composer/lyricist Seth Bisen-Hersh and a script by Mark Childers filled with laughter, pathos, and an abundance of sexual tension. Previews begin Friday, February 28th and the official opening night is slated for Monday, March 16th. Performances are on Mondays and Fridays at 8:15pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00pm. For the past 15 years, the It Awards have celebrated the vibrant and creative indie theatre community under the dedicated leadership of Executive Directors Shay Gines and Nick Micozzi who are stepping down and at the ceremony introduced new leadership for the organization: Cat Parker, Artistic Director of Articulate Theatre Company; Ariel Estrada, Producing Artistic Director of Leviathan Lab Projects; and Jazmyn Arroyo, Co-Founding Artistic Director of Step 1 Theatre Project will join Akia Squiteri, Artistic Director of Rising Sun Performance Company as Directors of the organization.

The It Awards have celebrated the vibrant and creative theatre community for the past 15 years.  The official announcement took place at (Le) Poisson Rouge by six celebrated artists and producers from the community including: Jazmyn Arroyo, Jennifer Betite Yen, Iyvon Edebiri, Chris Ignacio, Ashley Rogers, and Erez Ziv.
