While PCPA's stages are dark for the summer, due to the continuing health threat of COVID-19 and restrictions on public gatherings, PCPA Plays On!

Theatre streaming service STAGE continues to unlock popular titles from its catalog during the COVID-19 pandemic and make them available free of charge as part of its a?oeFree Streams on STAGEa?? initiative.

R.Evolución Latina's annual Beyond Workshop Series scheduled to begin on April 17th has moved to an online program. In light of the global response to Covid-19, RL rallied its teaching artists and creatives to take action.

Previously announced, Leg Up On Life's NIGHT OF LIFE benefiting The Trevor Project will return to Sony Hall Monday, February 24th, 2020. The explosive arts performance party is back with a stacked line up containing some of the most enticing Choreographers, Musicians, and Drag Queens to be found in New York all coming together to raise money for The Trevor Project.

Additional casting has been announced for the one-night only concert presentation of the holiday classic Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol on Monday, December 16 at 7:30 pm at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College (524 W. 59th St.). The evening will be directed by Carl Andress with choreography by Nathan Peck, based on original choreography by Marcos Santana. Grammy Award and Emmy Award-winner John McDaniel has written new orchestrations for the score and will serve at the evening's music director, conducting a 28 piece on stage orchestra.

For the second year in a row, Hamilton will host a special fan performance on Thursday, October 31 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway, with all tickets for the 7:00pm performance being sold for $10.

Alright, alright! To celebrate the Broadway opening of Freestyle Love Supreme, cast members from the Broadway production of Hamilton came together for a special performance on the stage of the Richard Rodgers Theatre. Check out the video to see Andrew Chappelle, Thayne Jasperson, Giuseppe Bausilio, Roddy Kennedy, and Raven Thomas get in on all of the freestyle fun!

On Sunday, members of the Broadway community gathered to support Stephanie Klemons and her not-for-profit organization, Katie's Art Project, for the 3rd Annual installation of [the art project] - A one-day-only gallery event that works to raise funds to connect children facing life-threatening illnesses with emerging and established artists through collaborative programs to create a lasting legacy through art.

Broadway veterans, R.Evolucion Latina's students from adult and children's program and volunteers joined hands to support the organization and its yearly programming at Harlem School of the Arts. The Dance-A-Thon is not only a fundraiser but also an annual reflection of the organization's mission.

For the past 6 years, R.Evolucion Latina (RL) has come together as a community to raise funds by daring to go beyond by dancing for 5 hours at their annual Dance-A-Thon. This grassroots event, has raised more than $200,000 since its inception.

Broadway Sessions celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15- October 15). We invited some of our favorite Latinx Broadway performers to share songs and stories reflecting their early hispanic influences on Broadway and beyond. Rodney Ingram (Phantom of the Opera), Yurel Echerezatta (Head Over Heels), Roddy Kennedy (Hamilton), Jennifer Sanchez (Pretty Woman), Julius Anthony Rubio (Frozen), Kathryn Allison (Aladdin) alongside "Rising Stars" AJ Alvarez and Hector Lionel enchanted the audience with heartfelt performances in both English and Spanish. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida, Footloose, Dance Captain Dance Attack web series) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.  This Today night, 10/11  Broadway Sessions celebrates Hispanic Heritage on Broadway with an all star lineup. The evening will shine a light on the rich heritage of Hispanic themes, influence, culture and artists from Broadway and beyond.

Broadway and NYC performing artists donated their time and talents, once again as teaching artists at the 11th Annual Dare to Go Beyond (D2GB) Children's Performing Arts Camp.

A brand-new dance narrative Alexa is coming alive at Inwood Art Works' Culture Hub on Friday, June 29th at 9pm, at 440 W. 202nd Street in Northern Manhattan. Alexa , a site-specific show based on the Amazon device, closes out the month-long programming at Culture Hub, a pop-up community arts center that is part of a vacant space activation program by Inwood Art Works. The Culture Hub is 'Inwood's Creative Space' for the entire month of June, with the hope to eventually create a permanent space for arts and culture in the Inwood community.
