Much-loved Australian entertainer Rhonda Burchmore, Welsh singer, radio and television presenter Aled Jones and popular singer/songwriter Ricki-Lee are set to entertain during this week's episode of live variety digital show, Arts Centre Melbourne's Big Night In with John Foreman on May 13 at 7pm.

Renowned Australian soprano Marina Prior, musical theatre performer, actor and singer Rob Mills and American musical theatre performer and opera singer Meghan Picerno (Christine, Phantom of the Opera, Broadway) will join this week's episode of live variety digital show, Arts Centre Melbourne's Big Night In with John Foreman on May 6 at 7pm.

St Kilda's MEMO Music Hall continues its transition from Dance Hall to Digital Venue with a very special Mother's Day event at 7.30pm 10 May featuring an all-star line-up of leading ladies of Australian Music Theatre.

Arts Centre Melbourne, one of Australia's most important artistic hubs for more than 35 years, has teamed up with John Foreman's Aussie Pops Orchestra to present a weekly live digital show, Arts Centre Melbourne's Big Night In with John Foreman every Wednesday at 7pm, starting on 29 April.

'Dancing with the Stars' Judge TRISTAN MACMANUS will play the role of 'The Prince' and one Australia's favourite performers RHONDA BURCHMORE returns for her second Panto to play 'The Queen'. Young, up and coming performer ANASTASIA FENERI also returns for her seond panto to play 'Snow White'. SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS will this year play exclusively at the all-new Sydney Coliseum Theatre, West HQ from Friday 3 to Sunday 12 July.

Arts Centre Melbourne's acclaimed Morning Melodies started in 1985 when performer Betty Pounder and producer Sandy Graham decided it was time to make good use of an otherwise empty theatre on a Monday morning. The 2019 Helpmann Awards Act II tonight was a star studded black-tie gala event hosted by the fabulous dynamic duo of comedian, writer and actor, Susie Youssef, and Artistic Director of State Theatre SA, Mitchell Butel.

Sydney Cabaret Festival Director Trevor Ashley today announced that Australian Showbiz royalty Toni Lamond will emerge from retirement to perform at a special closing night Showqueen event at the Festival, alongside performances from many of the international Festival guests. This coming year, the feel-good one hour concerts held each month at Hamer Hall will celebrate our very own Australian performers, including Rhonda Burchmore, Rachael Beck, Michael Cormick and Rohan Browne.

After presenting critically acclaimed sell-out productions of Sunday in the Park with George & Merrily We Roll Along, and prior to their November production of Michael John LaChiusa & George C. Wolfe's The Wild Party, Little Triangle will present A Little Cabaret with 7 emerging Australian performers this September for 3 nights only as part of the 2018 Sydney Fringe.

The 2018 Helpmann Awards Act II tonight was a star-studded ceremony in front of a full house at the Capitol Theatre Sydney on the set of Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical. Hosts for this stellar evening were music writer Glenn A Baker AM, acclaimed choreographer Rafael Bonachela, celebrated musical theatre star and TV host David Campbell, multiple Helpmann Award winning mezzo soprano Jacqueline Dark, comedian Anne Edmonds and Olivier and Tony Award Nominee Tony Sheldon.

On Tuesday, The Brisbane Festival launched its fabulous new line-up for this year's program, including even more world premieres, big-name acts and a brand new light and laser show off of the river, which will illuminate Brisbane for the entirety of the festival celebrations. Running from the 8-29 September, the festival will feature close to 600 performances, with 100 of them being free to the public, of 70 shows across seventeen venues in Brisbane, involving more than 1000 artists and hundreds of volunteers. Not only that, but the festival will premiere eight brand new works from leading Australian company's including Legs On The Wall, Circa and Dancenorth, as well as two major music events at the Riverstage, with Ball Park Music performing on the opening night and Violent Soho on the closing night. This year, the mammoth program is divided into three distinctive acts which frame the scope of the performances with Act One revolving around the idea of gender, memory and home. Amongst these performances is Memorial, a grand theatrical experience which 'gives life to the exquisite life to each of the 215 dead soldiers named in Homer's Iliad', starring the incredible Helen Morse and a community chorus of 215 choreographed by Circa's Yaron Lifschitz, featuring a soundtrack by Golden Globe nominee Jocelyn Pook. Performances featured in the first act include Home, a piece from the United States in which a house is magically built onstage from nothing and ends in a lively house party, Queens on King, an inner-city garden soiree in which eight real-life same sex couples tie the knot in a public ceremony and LIFE the show, a world premiere by Strut & Fret which showcases the extraordinary abilities of the human body. Other headlines include tv personality Hugh Sheridan's return in the 2016 smash hit the California Crooners Club; Yothu Yindi and the Treaty Project, the return of Symphony For Me, Michael Leunig and The Camerata in Gratitude & Grief and Katie Noonan's Elixir. Act Two is made up of performances which cast the individual against the forces of society, fate and nature, including Circa's En Masse, Dancenorth's Dust and Rhonda Burchmore and Rob Mills' BANG! BANG! And, the festival's closing week includes a variety of acts such as the scary movie homage HORROR; the world premiere of The Man with The Iron Neck from Legs On the Wall and the vibrant children's opera The Owl & The Pussycat. According to Brisbane Festival Artistic Director David Berthold, "Each act has its own explosion of story, and each opens a window to the world that will entertain and enlighten. We hope this festival is altogether alluring and will bring us all together, breathing as one, as we witness artists from here and around the world working at the very limits of their imaginations to blow our minds."
