Central Florida Vocal Arts launches its eleventh season with Sondheim's romantic comedy, A Little Night Music, sponsored by Advisist.

It's a Reggae Fest! See Jamaica's most prolific crooner Beres Hammond with Romain Virgo and Louie Culture at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Saturday, August 8th, at 8 PM.

Curated by Miller himself, J50 dives deep into the creative process of writing and assembling The Joker and amplifies its enduring magic by chronologically placing the original album tracks alongside 27 previously unreleased recordings from Miller’s personal archive – including songwriting tapes made by Miller on his TEAC 4-track.

With beginnings in the folk-rock space—even winning “Best Emerging Artist” at the Americana Music Awards—he went on to move away from much of the stripped-down, folk sound and began drawing on influences such as The Beatles, The Kinks, Elliot Smith, Broken Social Scene, Built to Spill and other 90’s indie rock bands.

After sold-out performances all over the west coast, Puppeteers for Fears, Oregon's only dedicated puppet musical horror troupe, will bring its original show, Cthulhu: the Musical!, to Seattle for a performance Wednesday, Aug. 2 at Chop Suey as part of the company's 2023 summer tour, as well as making a stop at The Crypt in Olympia on Saturday, July 29.

Produced by Cobb (his first self-produced album) and recorded at Macon’s famed Capricorn Sound Studios, Southern Star is a love-letter to Cobb’s southern roots, filled with the sounds and stories of his home state of Georgia. Across these ten tracks, featuring local Georgia musicians, Cobb finds beauty in the small moments.
