Rehearsals are underway for the American premiere of The Collaboration, which will begin previews on Tuesday, November 29 ahead of a Tuesday, December 20 opening at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. The company just met the press and they are telling us what the new play is all about in this video!

Jeremy Pope sat down on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night to discuss returning to Broadway in The Collaboration. Pope also told the story of his mother passing out in the audience of his Broadway debut, being nominated for two Tony Awards in one year, and his upcoming film, The Inspection. The full Broadway cast has been announced for the American premiere of The Collaboration, written by Anthony McCarten (The Two Popes, Bohemian Rhapsody), and directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah (The Visitor, Tree).

The UK Tour of Agatha Christie's THE MIRROR CRACK'D has been extended into 2023, with dates added in Cambridge, High Wycombe, Birmingham, Kingston and Aberdeen. The brand new production of Rachel Wagstaff's acclaimed adaptation is directed by Philip Franks. The UK Tour opened on 9 September 2022 and has already received rave reviews.

Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 will present the world premiere production of YOUR OWN PERSONAL EXEGESIS, a new play by Julia May Jonas, directed by Annie Tippe, which will begin performances Saturday, November 19 and run for six weeks only through Saturday, December 31 at the Claire Tow Theater.  Opening night is Monday, December 5.

The Collaboration will make its American premiere this winter on Broadway, featuring Paul Bettany  and Jeremy Pope. Written by Anthony McCarten and directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah, the production will be presented as part of Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming 2022-2023 season.

Sophie Ward and Joe McFadden join Susie Blake in the cast of the brand new production of Rachel Wagstaff's acclaimed adaptation of Agatha Christie's THE MIRROR CRACK'D. The production, directed by Philip Franks, will begin its UK Tour at Devonshire Park, Eastbourne on 8 September 2022.

Acclaimed actors Claire Foy and Paul Bettany will visit 92Y on Wednesday, April 13 to discuss A Very British Scandal, the new Prime Video series in which they star – following a screening of the first episode. In-person and online tickets are available on 92Y's website.

Simon Russell Beale will play the title role in Henrik Ibsen's John Gabriel Borkman in a new version by Lucinda Coxon at the Bridge Theatre.  Directed by Nicholas Hytner with set designs by Anna Fleischle and costume designs by Liam Bunster, John Gabriel Borkman will have its first performance on 24 September 2022 with opening night on 29 September 2022 with the run concluding on 26 November 2022. 

The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and the Coolidge Corner Theatre have announced the 2022 National Evening of Science on Screen®, coming to cinemas across the nation on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. That evening, participating organizations will use one of the nation’s favorite pastimes—going to the movies—to promote public understanding of science.

Ariana DeBose took home the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the recent film adaptation of West Side Story. The film also won in the Best Film Editing category.
