Ensemble Theatre Company (ETC) presents the third show of its 2021-2022 season live on stage, David Cale’s LILLIAN starring Nancy Travis. Previewing on March 3rd, LILLIAN opens March 5th at The New Vic in Santa Barbara. I had the chance to ask the ever-popular, always working television star about her theatrical beginnings and present stint as LILLIAN on the boards.

MCC Theater will re-air the benefit reading of Alan Bowne's Beirut that took place this past April. Beirut stars Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei, reprising her role from the 1987 MCC production, and Golden Globe winner Oscar Isaac, alongside MCC founding member Patrick Breen.

The Paul Rudd All-Star Bowling Benefit raises crucial funds that help send young people who stutter to Camp SAY. Last year's event raised over $200,000, helping children from families-in-need benefit from this life-changing camp experience. More than 70 million people stutter, including 5% of all young children, and approximately 1 in every 100 adults.

As explained in his program notes, playwright Jeff Augustin moved from Miami to attend college in Boston; envisioning New England as a liberal mecca where he could pursue his American Dream while freely exploring his identity. What he found was a part of the country he describes as a?oedeeply steeped in whiteness,a?? where people of color are regarded only in terms of their race-related experiences, rather than people living the full spectrum of human existence.
