New Conservatory Theatre Center has announced the release of world premiere radio comedy, The Law of Attraction, available for streaming October 1 - 31, 2020. Written specifically for the audio format by local sensation Patricia Milton and directed by Nikki Meñez, The Law of Attraction offers a hilarious look at the pressure of perfection and a satirical spin on the self-help industry. 

The Central Works Script Club, is a monthly book club - for plays! For episode #3, the Script Club offering is Bamboozled by the award-winning playwright Patricia Milton. Bamboozled, which will be available to read on the Central Works website (centralworks.org) starting August 4, was developed by Ms. Milton in the Central Works Writers Workshop.

Cristina García, author of a past season's hit adaptation King of Cuba returned to Central Works in 2019 to adapt another of her popular novels.

Each month the company takes a play from the Central Works catalog or a new script, makes it available to read, and invites the participants to send in questions for the playwright.

Central Works regrets that Queen Mair, the second production of its 30th anniversary season, has been postponed until 2021. The show was originally scheduled to run May 9 - June 7, 2021 at the Berkeley City Club. Central Works is now planning to present it as the second production of its 31st season.
