The Old Vic has announced the full cast for the return of the Tony and Olivier Award-winning Girl from the North Country, following its world premiere at the theatre in 2017.

The Park Theatre will host its Second Annual Monadnock Comic Con 2025, transforming 19 Main Street, Jaffrey, New Hampshire into a vibrant celebration of pop culture from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. 

The Park Theatre will welcome back Bill Connors and his electrifying Elton John tribute show on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 7:30 PM.  Connors, a professional vocalist and pianist, has captivated audiences for over 18 years with more than 3,000 performances as Sir Elton John, earning him the title “American Elton.”

The Park Theatre will present a special screening of David Lean's 1965 masterpiece Doctor Zhivago on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 1:30 PM, showcasing a breathtaking 4K restoration with immersive Dolby surround sound. 

The Park Theatre in Jaffrey, New Hampshire will screen the newly restored, critically acclaimed concert film, Pink Floyd at Pompeii – MCMLXXII,  on its giant screen. Learn more and see how to purchase tickets.

Jenny Connell Davis is a playwright, screenwriter, and performer whose work explores identity, justice, and human connection. Her plays, including DRAGON PLAY, SCIENTIFIC METHOD, and END OF SHIFT, have been developed by theaters across the country, from the O’Neill National Playwrights Conference to ACT in Seattle. Also an accomplished screenwriter, her work has been featured at SXSW and the Toronto International Film Festival. Originally from Maine, Jenny now lives and writes in Austin, Texas.

Cult cabaret theatre show House of Life have launched House of Life Records, a new record label with a sales and distribution deal with Right Track/Universal Music Operations.

The Park Theatre will soo welcome celebrated actor and comedian Frank Santorelli to its stage for a night of uproarious comedy on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 7:30 PM. 

Mark O’Halloran’s Irish Times Award-winning play follows a woman’s sexual escapades over the course of a year. Protected by anonymity, she and her bed guests drop their guard alongside their clothes, demanding nothing more than each other’s body. Being shrouded in mystery allows for a profound level of connection. Nameless negotiations and eager acceptance develop inside liberated vignettes where intimacy briefly bridges the gap between strangers. Characters open up freely, detailing heartache, bereavement, and loss, reaping the benefits of not being known, but trying at the same time to be loved. Uncomplicated sex becomes the counterpart of a complicated life. With a London premiere directed by Jess Edwards with natural ease, it’s a shame Conversations After Sex suffers from severe woman-written-by-a-man syndrome.

FEAST is a cynical, poetic, and unflinching reminder of our flawed humanity: we don’t learn from our mistakes. The cycle of greed, power, and self-destruction keeps repeating. It is a reckoning for the monsters we’ve become—and the ones we’ve allowed to thrive.

Devon Allman has announced the release of a new star-studded album, Blue Summit, accompanied by a tour that kicks off on August 7 in Baton Rouge, LA, wrapping up on Sept 12 at the iconic Telluride Blues & Brews festival.

All great plays have a moral dilemma buried at the centre. Loyalty, truth, justice, et cetera. The greatest playwrights narrow down these big juicy themes and shape them into a story, making the personal universal and challenging the audience by turning their views against them – it’s a difficult balance to establish. The core of How To Fight Lonelinesshas so much potential. Neil LaBute builds this project around a collection of major arguments, hardly making his characters acknowledge the empirical decisions they face directly. People talk about nothing, saying everything, for over two hours. Assisted suicide, spirituality, lawfulness are the lining of How To Fight Loneliness. Unfortunately, the final product is a redundant show, meaty in its subject but largely exasperating and uninspiring.
